nsfe_logo.gif Dinosaurs Alive was the recipient of a generous $2.2 million grant from the National Science Foundation. The NSF award lends a degree of “educational cachet” to the film and ensures that specific goals and objectives are fulfilled.

Dinosaurs Alive
will improve science literacy with an interdisciplinary approach to Earth sciences, geology, paleontology, environmental science, evolution, biodiversity, anatomy, technology, physiology, animal behavior, and the process/methodology of scientific inquiry. The educational materials developed to supplement the film provide informal educators and schools with activities and curricula tied to science standards for grades 5-9 age group and provide enrichment and guidance for middle to early high–school teachers.

The Museum Film Network
